Being an application running on web, TaskTrek faces some challenges of surpasing the user expectations in terms of UI speed. As a major step forward, we have started to take this aspect of the application very seriously. We have started delivering design element content (not the user files) from Amazon S3 cloud services. The results have been a major performance improvements.

But, we are not stopping here, we are releaseing a desktop widget for entering timesheets and reporting work process in next 3 weeks. To enable teams to report work complete and their progress reports seemlessly without even visiting TaskTrek.

There are a few other plans, one of the major being employing a server located in India to serve our indian client base. This will be operational in next week or so, reducing the network latency and taking TaskTrek to the next level.

This being said, we are always open to suggestions. It also is just a small way to say that we care about our clients more than anything else.
