As a major step forward, we have started to take this aspect of the application very seriously. We have started delivering design element content (not the user files) from Amazon S3 cloud services. The results have been a major performance improvements.

But, we are not stopping here, we are releaseing a desktop widget for entering timesheets and reporting work process in next 3 weeks. To enable teams to report work complete and their progress reports seemlessly without even visiting TaskTrek.

Wake up! It’s never too late.2011-02-10T11:53:25Z2011-02-10T11:53:25Zhttp://s1.loginworks.com/workplace-communication/124-wake-up-its-never-too-latePreeti Junejapreeti.juneja@loginworks.com
Wake up! It’s never too late.

That’s my motto to all the small companies out there. They have added years to their profile but gained no intelligence when it comes to using technology. One fine day, they will grapple hard to get client, to retain clients when they find their internal management has gone for a toss.

So far, we all are doing well but don’t you want to do great for years to come? Forget great, I think we have to do a lot more to ensure we survive the winds of change. For that, important to explore the world around us, knowledgeable about the options available and invest in the best suited one.

Timesheet Approvals2010-12-17T08:12:01Z2010-12-17T08:12:01Zhttp://s1.loginworks.com/about-tasktrek/116-timesheet-approvalsLoginworks Teamdjuneja@loginworks.com
Ability to approve timesheets!

Dated: Friday, 17 December 2010

We have introduced another new feature on TaskTrek, which gives managers the option to approve and freeze timesheets for tasks. Below are the screenshots of the application with the new feature and how it works.

Managers get notifications when a Task is marked as complete by people working on a given task. This happens when they log hours against a task and select "100%" complete from the Percent complete dropdown.

Manager will then be able to click on "Edit" against a Task and "check" the small checkbox right below the Task description. Which says "Freeze timesheet for this Task".

Once this is done, no more changes to the timesheets will be allowed for that Task.
