Wake up! It’s never too late.

That’s my motto to all the small companies out there. They have added years to their profile but gained no intelligence when it comes to using technology. One fine day, they will grapple hard to get client, to retain clients when they find their internal management has gone for a toss.

So far, we all are doing well but don’t you want to do great for years to come? Forget great, I think we have to do a lot more to ensure we survive the winds of change. For that, important to explore the world around us, knowledgeable about the options available and invest in the best suited one.

Just like many of you out there, I have had problems with my boss because of miscommunication, I have had to face embarrassment of not knowing because of lack of information, I have dealt with losing out on data with thanks to e-mails, and searching endlessly for my files within folders and the list goes on. All this and more hampered my productivity, wasted my efforts and time and made me look sloppy in front of clients. There were systems, policies and procedures, training and development sessions, code of conduct and  the intranet service for timesheets that was even more time. Saying all this, doesn’t in any ways mean that I’m raising a question to the companies I have serviced or my caliber, it is about being aware that there are problems and to those, solutions as well. One has to explore what those solutions are and not let the problems dwell that it dampens work quality. This realization itself is a big change in itself.

Irrespective of what business you are into, communication is the key to all relationships. If you haven’t got that right, there is little you can do to correct the workings on any campaigns or activities for clients. No project management tool or campaign management software will help you streamline your activities till your communication along with all information is well integrated and documented, is my guarantee.

As our work has increased, and so has our pace, it is difficult to organize no matter how meticulous you are as a person. The job demands a lot more that is not humanly possible. Therefore, it is important to rely on technology. As an individual you shop for gadget and gizmos to make your life simpler but as an entrepreneur how do you plan to make your employees work life simpler, clutter free!

Think about it, there are way too many channels of communication these days. How do you then plan to break the clutter! Your information is all over the place, scattered in your emails, laptop, and personal account on web, mobile, chat….

I remember, not being allowed to surf the net in office, no external devices allowed, CDs to be requisitioned with an approval from boss, etc. but can you still continue to work like this in silos with no net activity in office anymore when social media is on a rise? I don’t think so.

To answer this, and break free from the clutter we gave birth to TaskTrek. We filled the need gap for an economical, easy to use, replacing emails, an internal communication solution that is fit to all businesses. Where document management, communication management, project management and team management meet hands and form a strong, robust solution for any company or work team.

Even if you are small, 10 people team, it is critical to be organized now before it is too late!

Wake up! It’s never too late.
